MISSION & VISION

Mission Statement: To empower African youths to become active citizens and leaders, fostering a culture of democratic governance, political participation, and socioeconomic development. We strive to equip youths with the knowledge, skills, and resources necessary to drive positive change and improve their communities.

Vision: Empowering African youths to unlock their full potential, fostering wealth creation, reducing poverty, and cultivating skills and abilities for a brighter future.

ORGANISATIONAL HISTORY

The African Youths Improvement League is not a duplication of black radical movement but a continuation of the radical Pan-African organizations that emerged in the 19th and 20th centuries. Founded on February 5, 2021, by Kwame Nesiqhamo Upanga from Ghana, the league draws inspiration from the Universal Negro Improvement Association and African Communities League (UNIA/ACL), established by Marcus Garvey.

Birthed in Ghana, the movement has expanded to over 10 countries across Africa and beyond. Guided by the principles of justice, liberation, and unity, the league is a dynamic force shaping a new generation of informed, empowered, and socially conscious leaders.
